Passport Renewal : GivenName Surname order in Passport for parents/spouse discrepancy

Hey there,
I renewed my passport recently and got my passport back from BLS.
I had requested to add my spouse name to the passport.

In the new passport that was issued, the order of GivenName and Surname for my spouse is in order "Surname GivenName"
i.e. if
GivenName : MANISHA
Surname : GUPTA
Then its printed in passport as "GUPTA MANISHA"

But my parents' names are in the other order.
My concern is Parents names and Spouse name are in different order.

I have checked lot of sample indian passports and some of them follow "GivenName Surname" order and others "Surname GivenName" order.

I am trying to figure out which is the correct order for parents/spousename.

I am clueless as to which is the right order and if this is going to cause problems in future.
