Hi,
I would like to know if my children (both are OCI) are they eligible to study in Indian Government school(public) as I have lost my job and I can't put them in fee paying schools as the fees are so high. I am planning to move to Salem and looking for government schools over there. Enquiry the schools I couldn't find much info. as the schools are unaware of what OCI is and they haven't come up with situations like that in past.
Googling found that OCI are not eligible to take government jobs but there is no info. whether OCI kids can study in government schools.
Anybody can put a light on the above.
