Moving back to India with US Job
Hello everyone,
I am relocating back to India on 31st December 2017. I am planning to work for my US firm which provides consulting services to clients based in US. Currently, I am working on two projects for my firm. My firm has a different entity back in India. The entity in India is not a subsidiary of the US firm. I wanted to know if I can continue to work from home in India for the US firm and draw salary in India. Can the US firm pay me through their Indian entity or do they have to register in India? Also, how long does it take to complete any paper work to comply with Indian regulations to register their company in India. As this is a time sensitive matter, any help is appreciated.
