Hi,
I have booked my airticket to India thru British Airways from US.
It goes like this, JFK to London , London to Kolkata.
I know that, to have a transit at London one should have a valid US visa stamping on the passport, or else he needs a transit visa.
I am in US currently working on L1 visa, my visa petition and I-94 are valid till 2008 but L1 stamping on my passport has expired (only 11 months stamping is given for L1 visa).
But I do have a valid B1 US visa stamping on my passport which is still valid.
My question is can I travel without a transit visa, as I have a valid stamping on my passport.
Please help.
