On visa extension, going to visit India

Hi everyone

i'm new to this forum, so dont know if i'm posting at the right place or not.

we are on extension of our visas, and planning to visit India for 3-4 weeks, so we'll have to get a stamping done before coming back to US...

just wanted to know, what are the chances that they might not approve the visa, cos if that happens we have our rented apt here and car and everything, so it'll be difficult for us to manage all that if we are not able to come back here !!! cos i've heard some ppl's visa being rejected...

can anybody share their experiences of stamping on extension please !!!

Sorry this is not the reply for your question. But, i'm in a similar situation. I have my H1B approval notice, but my visa is not stamped. This is not an extension of my H1B, this is the 1st time. I'm planing to go to India next month and get it stamped there. If you get any information regarding the situation in India (rejections and other issues), I request you to plz inform me.
