Hello,
I need some help with some passport based issues.
Ive been in USA/CANADA for the last 10 years i have never stepped out of these two countries. But my dad was recently diagnosed with an serious medial condition. I am LEGAL resident of USA/CANADA but i never accepted the passport or citizenship of these two countries im an Indian citizen by birth.
But when i turned 16 my passport expired and i have no passport. Usually traveled with just green card to Canada and back. So my passport has been expired for around 10 years now.
I need to apply/renew my Indian passport so what will be the steps. Is it still do able in USA? and can i just mail it all in. Or will i be asked to go in person and met the general and then be sent to India on a travel document to get my passport from there. I need some advice from people who have law experience or went trough the same issue. I appreciate all your help and time
