Dear All : It sounds really contradictory to me that i am paying so much in Social Security taxes and medicare taxes being on H1-B visa.
H1-B visa is a temporary visa and i am not supposed to be permanent in USA and i do not understand why i have to pay so much on every paycheck each year.
Is there a way to avoid pay these taxes ?
Maybe is there a way to get back that tax money while going back to India ?
Please suggest as i would like to get back all the money that i paid towards social security and medicare while being on H1-B visa.
