Returning back to USA with DR wife and son?

Hi,

I am a Born American citizen and have been living in the dominican Republic for the past 5 years an have been married for 3years with my dominican wife. but now i need to return back to the united states, and so my question is what is the best method or how should i go about taking my wife to the USA with me.

I also have a 3 year old son with my wife, but with him it seems to be a walk in the park, since by law he is automatically a USA citizen, and so i have to only go to US consular and report his birth and get his passport.
