Job Loss on H1 with approved 140

Hi All, if we loose job on H1, however if we have I140(from previous employer) approved, Do we only get 60 days or can I use COmpelling circumstance(https://www.uscis.gov/working-in-the...-circumstances) such as - daughter goes to kindergarten or own a house which has a loan on it - for another 1 year of authorized stay. Kindly advise what are the options.
