OCI or PIO or something else for my new born baby

Hi,

I came to US on L1 for one year and I will be going back to India in next 3-4 months. we are going to be blessed with a baby very soon. My question is what I should apply for to have a legal entry in India (PIO or OCI or something else). The reason I am asking this is because I do not see any chance to come back to US and if the baby will have PIO or OCI still he will not be having Indian citizenship. Does it make sense, after going back to India I can surrender US citizenship and opt Indian citizenship (What I understand India does not allow dual citizenship yet).
