Canadian American Dual Citizen - Applying for OCI (overseas citizenship of India)

If an Indian origin individual who holds dual citizenship of USA and Canada applies for an OCI Card - which Passport should he mention in his OCI application? The US or the Canadian passport? Which one would make his travel between Canada-India and US-India easier? It can be kinda confusing to Indian immigration officials and hence this question.

The country you live in should have oci stamp I had to switch my oci to new nationality passport they gave me new number if I reside in usa and am American I need to show this oci stamp when I exit USA for india
