Hi,
Shall be travelling to USA and Canada in October first week.
Shall be applying for US visa this week.
Can I apply about 3 months in advance for my Canada VISA? The VFS helpline says it is advisable to apply one month in advance, but you can apply earlier also.
Against a mail they have replied "Please be informed, as per the guidelines from the Canadian High Commission if you are applying for a visitor visa, it is advisable to apply 1 month prior to your intended date of travel to Canada. However, it is not mandatory if you wish to apply earlier as well you can do so, however, rest of the discretion still remains with the Canadian High Commission."
Any harm applying 3 months in advance? Is there a remote possibility that they issue a 1 month valid visa which expires before october? (I will be mentioning my intended date of visit in my VISA application)
My dates are fixed and there is absolutely no possibility of any change to my travel date.
