Planning to apply for Canada Visa/PR.

Hi There,
Please guide me in taking decision to opt for Canada?
I have following questions. It would be great if i got some information on this.

I am Software developer/Tester. How are the opportunities there in Canada Market for I.T. Engineers?
What is the cost for Visa and PR? (I Heard it was Canada - 255$)
Will there be any additional charges?
(Or) Is it good to go through consultancies for documentation work?
What is minimum duration to stay in Canada after i getting Visa? (As i am planning to move to US down the line.)

Apply for Canada PR Visa you must have minimum 3-4 year Experience & also you Should be IELETS Qualify...........
& if you want to go Canada through Consultancy then Check consultancy must be ICCRC Certified....

Thanks for the reply. I am having 8+ years of experience in Microsoft .NET Technologies.
Can i get any sponsorship visa through company?
