Hi please help me in clarifying the confusion
I'm married and working in India and my husband is in Canada (Permanent resident). Even I have applied for PR just a month back and it is yet to be processed. Meanwhile I'm planning to apply visitor's visa once i get the reference number for PR so that I can join in as he is coming down at February. Now, if i apply visitors visa as a "salaried Employee", i should get leave approval from my office and apply but i will resign once i get. Or, if i apply as a housewife i'll get the visitor's visa but will it be rejected since i have already applied for a PR which is under process and i wont be able to come back here.? I'm so confused on how to take it forward and my motive is to move with him soon as possible.
One of his friend has did this process for his wife by applying a PR and after receiving the reference number for PR, she had applied for visitors visa as "salaried employee" and got the visa. Even if i do the same process and get the visa, the air ticket should be booked. If in case i dont want to travel on that booked date, will i be able to postpone the ticket? will it affect my visa if i cancel the ticket? Pls pls some one advise me on this!!!!
