Question Regarding Visitng Canada

Hi,

I am a British Citizen, planning to visit canada.
My question is when you visit Canada do they give u some kind of (I-94 card like in the USA) when you enter the country or stamp your passport or some short of stamp?
Also do you have to get your passport re-stamped when you leave the country or or do you have surrender soemthing like the(!-94 like in the US) ?

Can anyone tell me how it works?

Most countries including Canada have incoming and outgoing dates stamped in passport.
