How much time Singapore takes ??

My brother applied from Singapore. He is India resident. He got file# 3-4 days back.

How mcuh Singapore Canadian Embassy takes to send Medical papers/Interview papers ???

I have applied on (in Singapore) 1-10-2001, Interview 15-10-2002, Medical 24-10-2002 and finally got PR Papers 10-02-2003. May be my file was in transisition period of September 11 aftermath and its law changes.

But my friend who just arrived in Canada applied January 2002 and completed entire formality and got his PR this year February.

so I would say it tooks 13 to 15 months period. This is my guess based on my friends applications.

Anyway i am going to toronto end of next month.

since your brother has also applied from singapore much before than me, he can give some info.

Hi,

I am Babu. I too applied from Singapore 2002 April. Got the file# information within a month. But after the rules changed, i received another letter from HighCommission to fill up a new form in Dec'2003, but no need to pay the amt again. After 3 months received another letter for IELTS requirement and i have completed it on May 2004. Then within a month i received the medical and landing fee. As my wife is on the family way, i am waiting for her delivery to receive the further papers. Anyway 90% of process has been completed.

Means that, my case took 2 years. Good Luck
