Dear friends,
I am curretly on H1-B - visa stamped (Phd as Post -doc in a Medical college) and have validity till 2007. I got offer from a canadian university as Post-doc.
My spouse on H-4 but visa not yet stamped as he came on J-2 and has not gone back to India yet....but has valid I-94 till 2007.
We would like to apply from a canadian consulate in US. Considering our records are perfect......
Will my spouse be asked to go back to India and apply?
If there is no problem for him to apply along with me, how long it would take for granting work permit for me and visa for both?
Should I also apply for temp visa for both?
