US GC to Canada PR

Dear Readers,

I would like to know how a US green card holder can migrate to Canada and get permanent resident status. Do they have to follow the same procedure as third world country citizens follow like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh etc.

Further please guide if one who wish to migrate is also need to pas IELTS or US residents are exempted ?

For "landed" status in Canada (comparable to U.S. Green Card, Permanent Residency in U.S.), one must have a legal basis to apply for such status in Canada. Marriage to a Canadian citizen or being petitioned by another relative who is a Canadian citizen or has "landed" status and whose relationship provides for petitioning of your relationshp category.

Like I said third world countries, it is hard for them to get a job by simply applying in companies but through proper skilled worker program they can file immigration case. US GC holders can visit Canada anytime and if one gets job there and wish to settle down in Canada permanently. So in this case what will be the procedure and any idea like they will ask to complete IELTS before proceeding PR of Canada.
