Hello everyone,
In October 2015, I had my US L1-A Individual visa approved, however I got a 221(g) green slip during the interview. After waiting for 3 months, my company started to process my Canadian intra-company transfer work visa. The attorneys have prepared my case and ready to file the visa now. However, right before the Canadian documents were submitted my US L1-A visa got approved and I got it stamped.
Now, my employer is suggesting to get the Canadian visa stamped too since 95% of the costs for the visa have been spent.
Questions:
1. Am I legally allowed to possess work visas for US and Canada together?
2. I will eventually be travelling to US. Can there be any issues at the US port of entry?
3. Can I actually hop between Canada and US every 3-4 months with these visas in hand (considering both visas are current during those periods)?
Any help would greatly be appreciated. I thank you in advance for the help.
Have a good day!
