Hi, I have some questions about traveling to Canada. I'm cuban and I lived in Canada for one year under the Permanent Resident Status, my PR is still valid until August/2017. I have been living in the USA for the last three years and I already have the american Green Card. I applied last year for the eTA permit to visit Canada and I was told that in order for them to approve my eTA I needed to relinquish my canadian permament resident status. I still went to Canada but by car and I did not have any issues since the eTA is just in case you go my ship or by plane. This year I wanna go again but I wanna go by plane since it's faster. I don't want to relinquish my canadian permanent resident status because even though I'm living in the USA I don't know if in the future I would want to go back to Canada. Can anybody help me and tell me what I can do? Can I still fly to Canada from the USA without that permit? Please, help.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.
