Hi,

I have done all my schooling in english and also at my job place the medium of communication is english. so is it essential i still take a language proficiency test or a written explanation on this would suffice.

IELTS Required

Hi All,
It is a known fact that IELTS is required 95% of the time for submission for PR application.
But my questions is that , is it really necessary to submit the scores with the application for PR
OR could the scores be submitted later on after submitting the application.

Isn't it possible to attach documents of evidence of schooling in English through your career and a letter in English stating the same sufficient enough to submit the application

Experts please answer, this would definitely help aspiring applicants to save a lot of time.

Necessary in certain instances.

I was raised in the USA and Trinidad in the West Indies, from where i am trying to immigrate. I was told by the personnel at the Canadian embassy that since my native language is English and I have lived most of my life in English speaking countries, that it was not necessary for me to take any formal test. I did however, have to include a letter of explanation as to my omission of any formal English test scores.
