Hey,
I wrote about my wife's experience before about this issue but I had no feedback. She was here in the US getting her green card and decided to go back to Canada. By doing so she had abandoned her gc applications and is stuck in Canada. We have talked to a few attorneys and found one with a lot of potential in buffalo. He believes that she is able to cross the border by land using what's called a humanitarian parole. If she is able to pass with that, then she would need to refile her application for GC within 30 days. I guess my question for now, while I wait for the case to come through is, is she able to come with that type of parole? If so, is it possible to refile a GC within the time period? Thanks
