I'm planing to apply to Canadian PR through its provincial nomination.
recently I went back to my hometown police station to ask for my birth certificate and discovered that my birthday on the certificate is 3 days later than other birth date on my other identifications.
Having learnt that it was a mistake the officer made a few decades ago and the procedure of changing it back could take years, the current officer offered me a letter explaning that there's a mistake in my birth date and the person of 2 birth dates are of the same person. She told me that it's going to be very difficult to change it back and there will be a huge hassle to follow considering all the other documents i need to change..
I'm from China and there's a lot of bureaucracies here so basically i feel like it's impossible for me to change it back. I was wondering if the Canadian immigration officer will acknowledge the explanation letter provided by the police ?
Thanks!!!
