How long does the process usually take after CIC asks for more information? In my case my IELTS. Anyone who can share a timeline with similar experience as mine?

Nobody can say correct time. Moreover whether they ask you or not..depends on the individual application and the result of IA. So its always better to prepare well your application kit and submit all relevant information will save you lot of time which other wise be wasted in CIC asking you and you submitting.

In my case i applied in Jan 2005 with all docs and got request for medicals in Jan 2006 and stamped in May 2006 with PR Visas.

So what did they ask you ? IELTS ? So did you take the exam and have the result sent to them ? How long back you sent them ?
