The vast majority of people around the world are decidedly attempting to immigrate to Canada for numerous reasons. The first important reason is that Canada has "opened" up to immigrants and is not fulfilling it's annual capacity needs, hence there is little population growth there. The second major reason is that Canada has been deemed one of the two better countries to migrate to and again for numerous reasons. My question then is why this forum is so underutilized and so sparsely populated. Even the forums for the USA are populated and used ten times more than this one. The thing is that Canada is the country of choice to immigrate to in this era and as such this forum should be more active at least ten fold. Please explain to me as help is needed by so many people who simply want to pursue a "better" more decent life and forums of this type are the major means for many of us to obtain information and advice. Thanks for your time!

Why so underused?

I have been thinking the exact same thing. But, I think the U.S is a more popular place to emigrate to, hence why so many use its forums. There are far more U.S immigration forums than Canadian ones. I have read so many comments by people wanting to get out of Canada and go to America because of the shortage of skilled jobs there. This puts alot of professionals off emigrating to Canada, because they dont want to end up delivering pizza for a living. I also think that this imparticular forum doesnt have constant Moderators or guru's to answer peoples questions. Look how many questions are unanswered!
If there were Moderators or Administration on the forum regularly then people would find this informative and keep comming back for more answers to their questions.
I know myself that I have seeked other forums and when I need answers to improtant questions I go find them myself.

Still quite confusing!
Curt you know it is just astounding to me to even try to realize what is happening in this immigrational environment. Yes I see that the USA has a big appeal to many prospective immigrants, however there is no mistaking that the life quality in Canada is a far ways better than that within the USA. The growth that is occuring within Canada at this time is tremendous and far surpasses that of the US so i am amazed to hear any individual who wants to leave Canada to another country for this reason. I do know that the cold is a big issue and here in the Caribbean it is a element in the deciding factor, but more so than not, knowledgeable people here seem to agree, 19:1, that canada is a better country to migrate to. Anyways i would certainly prefer to deliver pizza in Canada where life is very decent and safe and make $8/hr rather than live where I am now with bandits everywhere and I would make $1/hr at a delivery job.
As for myself I see too much development for the future in the massive Canadian area so i intend to be where the future seems more "liveable".
Anyways Curt i think that you should answer some of the questions posed by the people who frequent this forum, because a s you have noted, way too many of the questions have gone unanswered, so your input will also assist in making this forum what it should be. Curt, by the way, how is your application going? Keep me filled in and let me know how things are with you in the future.

Curt,
This is a community forum and everyone needs to help everyone else.
However, that does not happen in practice. Most people are very selfish. They just come to the forum to get their questions answered and never bother about other people's problem and don't even answer their questions.
If everyone thinks like that, how will the questions be answered?
Remember, this is a free forum. We can't afford to hire 10 attorneys or other such knowlegeable people and ask them to answer the questions whole day for free!
If you need immediate answer to your questions and don't care about rest of the users, you should contact an immigration attorney, pay high fees and hope that you would get some advice there.Immihelp Support

I agree with you totally.
Especially about selfish people wanting their own questions answered and then never comming back.
And I also think that every question asked on this forum can be answered by either the CIC website or by contacting them direct. But thats too much trouble for most, and thats why they come to forums like this.
Any questions I reply to are true legitamite information that I got from official websites. Im no expert, attorney etc Im acctually 20 years old and havent even started an application for immigration.
So if I am able to answer some of these questions then I dont see why the person asking them isnt able to find the answer themselves.
Thanks for replying dude.
