My wife and I are considering filing for Canadian PR. I believe we should qualify for the skilled workers program and get a quick Canadian PR. I will also want to be the primary applicant based on education and work experiences.
I have a few questions for this process —
1. After applying for Canadian PR together, what if only my wife moves to Canada and activates her PR? Will this be an issue? Am I required to go with her/be with her/live with her? I currently work for FB and I don’t intend to move just yet. She however wants to.
2. In order to naturalize, she would need to live in Canada for a period for 3 years or more. If she lives in Canada for 3 years and I barely visit Canada in that timeframe, will she naturalize?
3. Continuation of #2 - if she naturalizes, does it mean I naturalize as well? Or do I have to stay in Canada for 3 years either way?
