PR application from SINGAPORE

Hi Everyone,

I would like to get some details on how long do I need to wait for my PR to finished processing? I applied on March 2005 and I know that it takes a minimum of 18 months. Has anyone here who applied beginning of 2005 and got his PR approved already?

Howdy Gaussian! If you look at the stats on the Canadian website you will see that a certain percentage of the applicants do become processed under the maximum advised time. This indicates that some people are fotunate enough to have their applications opened at a time different to others who may have to await the full recommended period. As an example a guy here in Trinidad applied in October of 2005 and his case was finalized by January of 2006. I tendered my application in March of 2005 and I ahve not heard a word from them as yet. The stats do reflect the facts that some get through faster than others and that is the luck of the draw because some applications will be pulled in a short period of time. hang in there buddy and you will be in Canada soon enough.

Thanks alot! .... Did you apply through agent? What is the maximum time for application from Trinidad? Did your friend also apply through same way as you?
