Hello!

Someone I know needs assistance! He wants to live in Canada.So he talked to
a few canadian attornies who told him that they won't take his case.So he
found one now that's willing to take his case.He wants 3000$ to start and
another 1500 at the end of the process.
That attorney claims that there's a way to obtain a canadian permanent
residence even without enough points if he could convince the canadian
consulate that this guy would be successful in Canada.This friend of mine
doesn't have any education beyond HS and he doesn't really have any
professional work expirience.
Any ideas?

Alon I think that the skilled worker category will not be available to your friend and the fact is that skilled worker is the major category that is being used to "employ" people to immigrate to Canada. Here in Trinidad there are many advertisements that indicate that there are many categories under which people can immigrate to Canada. Facts are that canada is way short of people, Canada does need capable working immigrants and so forth. A great deal of the info is freely available on the Canadian website but what some attorneys appera to be saying is that they actually know other methods of getting to Canada. Fact is that oen does not even have to have to 67 points because truck drivers, farmers, oil workers and so forth, are needed. So please encourage your friend to investigate all means of emigrating because a s you can see Canada is the new frontier. The facts are that more people will eventually be headed to canada because of the new US policies toward immigration and the US's governmental tendency toward other countries thus making the US less desirable to live in.
