Need help in planning the visit to Ottawa for H1 VISA re-stamping

Hi,

I have got a date of 30th Aug 2006 for my H1 Visa stamping in Ottawa. My current H1 Visa expired in April 2006 this year. I have an extension receipt for the same until Dec 2009. This will be my first visit to Canada.
Want to knw, how/when should I go to Ottawa. Do some bus service / runs from US to Canada ? I am thinking to getting in via Buffalo/Niagara.
First of all, I do not know how to apply for a Canadian Tourist Visa. I went to some sites where they show a form to fill up...like IMM525 etc but i do not know if i can submit those forms online ?
Can some one please help me.

I also went to Ottawa last year and got a successful restamping. The experiences that I am refering, helped me also!
