  • processing times with new schedule

    Dear Friends,

Iam a new member and it's great to be a part of this wonderful group.I am an Indian Pharmacist and plan to apply under federal skilled worker category.Could any one tell me how long is the usual waiting time for applications in New Delhi and what will be the effect of the new scheme on it? ( Iam confused with the processing times being explained in www.cic.gc.ca )
    Have a nice day.

    Its all there

Hey Libra! I think that the Canadian website does a quite good job of posting the rate of immigration to Canada. I mean a s for the skilled worker category it appears that the info is given in percentages of applications submitted on a particular date, that have been finalized, which is quite straightforward. One bit of information that I ahve not seen is how many applications are rejected a s per specific period and the reasons for such. I was made aware that Canada need people so badly that immigration there was an almost guaranteed thing as long as one has the necessary requirements. However i do not see how things could be this simple. I wish you the best of luck and I see that the wait for you is quite some time but the thing is that with your high level of education, despite all other requirements, yuo have a great education and I bet that you will get there quite easily. Just wait and save your money a s this will be evry handy on initial immigration there. Good luck buddy!

      Thanks

      Dear Antony all!!

Thanks a lot 4 the reply. The thing that was confusing was

Processing Times at Individual Visa Offices in New Delhi
      30% of cases finalized in:62
(months) 50% of cases finalized in:64
(months) 70% of cases finalized in:66
(months) 80% of cases finalized in:69 (months )

That means that it will take at least over 60 months for the completion.
      Isnt it?
