    PR as well Student visa ??

    Hi i have applied for permanent residency in jan 06 and i have received my file number.
    Now to make it faster can i go ahead and apply for a student visa?
    Can my wife work there while i am doing my studies ?
    Will that help in me getting the PR faster ?
    Will that effect my PR application in any way ?

    Please suggest !!!
