When my visa will exprie ? - please help

I am Indian staying in New zealand. I got my PR card on August 2005 when I visited canada. Now Can anybody tell me till what period I can entry canada with this PR card ?. PR card expries on Aug 2009.

Some body told me I should entry canada before Aug 2007 or I wlll lose my PR because I have to stay in Canada for 3 years with that PR card.

Please advise me.
