Candian Visa Application

The links that are on the canadian consultate website talk about having an invitation letter from somebody in Canada for visa application, but as applying for stamping the only thing I have is the appointment confirmation letter. Would that be sufficient?

if you live in the usa on h1b and need a tourist visa for canada, you don't need any letter

you can apply on your own showing your employment in the usa and sufficient funds.

apply for a multiple entry visa

they will give you a visa which will be valid till the validity of your h1b

of course, if your situation is otherwise, then things change
