Canda Immigraion - Urgent help required on Auto Revalidation

Hi,

I have got Canada immigration VISA valid till 10th May 2007. I would like to Land in Canada by Road ( Thru Niagara falls ) before the CANADA VISA expires.

I am working in US on L1 Visa with valid I-94 and US Visa expired on (2006 Aug ) passport.

I need a suggestion on 30 day Auto revalidation to come back to US based on I-797 , L1 petition. Is AUTO revalidation applicable to L1 - Petition holders.

My question is whether I can go to Canda for Landing and come back in a week to US on valid L1 petition / I 797 and I-94 with auto revalidation clause.

My Company does not allow me to go for US convisa stamping in CANADA.

Any one has any experiences 2007.

Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.
