  • Will my Immigration PNP be rejected? What to do?

    Hello,

I'm in a very desperate situation! I used to be an int'l japanese student and graduated from SFU business 1.5 yrs ago, and now I'm working as a Japanese Home-stay and study program Consultant/Coordinator with a work permit that will expire on June 30.

About 3 months ago, I applied for BC PNP immigration. Two problems arised: 1.) the process for PNP may take longer than June 30, in which case I will not have any status (work permit expired) in Canada and will have to leave, 2.) My PNP agent mentioned that my position is not "skilled" enough.

I just want to know if there is anything I can do better in this situation. I am thinking of applying for an extended work permit while this happens so that I can at least have status while the PNP process is going through.

Any sort of advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Also, for the people who've successfully dealt with PNP, is it ok to directly contact your PNP agent and ask questions? Because communication is mainly between my employer and the agent so far.
