Obligation of Permanent Residency Card Holders

Canadian Immigration Gurus,

What are the residency obligations of permanent residents - that is - what does a permanent resident card holder living outside Canada (after having finished the landing process and got the PR card) need to do to not lose their immigrant status?

Please advise.

PRs need to satisfy the 730 day requirement of living in Canada in a 5 year time period. If you want to live outside of Canada for a certain amount of time that's fine, but you have to satisfy your 2 years in Canada in the first 5 years of your PR status.
