Regarding IELTS Plz help me

I applied for PR in april 2007 at Buffalo. I got a letter from New York consulate they said must take IELTS. But I did my masters from US and Also I am working in IT field.

Please tell me what I have to do..........

Reg IELTS

Mine is the same case. I did my Master's in USA. I am preparing my documents for Canada PR (to apply very soon). Do I need to take IELTS for "proof of language proficiency". What kind of documents do I need to provide for "provide other written proof of your abilities" if I don't take IELTS. Your inputs will be really greatful.Thank you in advance.
