I applied for Canadian immigration, and done the medical, how long it takes after the medical test to recieve landing papers; all the formalities have been completed.

thats good news your medical finished, now u have to wait for your Passport request, it will take normally more then 3 months. time not sure but minimum you have to wait atlist 3 months after your medical received,

please check my time line in forum and u will got information as well as check track link tooo.

Apply for Canada immigration while in USA with h1b

I m currently in USA with H1b visa and i m in IT industry( Sofware eng.)
My brother lives in Canada and has citizenship of Canda.
Native country is India

1)I am not sure weightage about IT profesional currrently in Canada and chances of success?

2)I can apply only as skilled worker or any other option i can have as my relative stays there? ( i m over 18,so i think i cant apply for family class)

3)In skilled worker, i have seen "0213: Computer and Information Systems Managers " at " http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-instructions.asp#list".
Does it mean that Sr. sofware eng or other computer post may not fall under this category?
