Need help with Canada PR.

Hi All,we are in need of help.
My husband and I are living in US now. His H1 visa is
Valid till march 2010. His employer is delaying green card process.
So we are considering getting Canada PR done so that we can extend our stay in US beyond 2010.We scored 76 points on canada immigration, my husband has done masters in US and has more than 4yrs of work experience here.I believe with a job offer from Canada we can score another 10 points.
Here are my questions.
1.Can we apply for Canada PR staying in US without a job offer from Canada?
2.How long does Canada PR process take?
3.Do we need to hire an attorney or can we do it ourselves?
Please advice.

hi,

yes you can apply form US withour job offer
for federal application it might be take maximum 2 years

you can do your self application.

as i know with Master degree and 4 year work expirence you are able to make PR application
