Please guide me after medical how much more time is required

I have applied for Canadian immigration as a skilled worker from the buffalo. Following is my timeline1st Sep 2007 Application Submitted 15th Nov 2007 got file number30th April application approved and got request for medical examination result and landing fees15th May submitted medical examination result and landing fees.After that i did not hear anything about my case from Canadian immigration office. Now I am worried about my case. Please guide me is there way I can find out where my case is stuck Your suggestions will be highly appreciated.My next question is I have changed my employer after approval of my application I am still doing my job in same profession .do i need to update about my new employer to immigration office if yes how I can update them.Thank You

After medical minimum time take for PR application is 3 to 4 month
it is a background check processing time, ones its finished you receiverd letter for stamping visa

document need for stamping.
