H1 VISA Unstamped Transfer

Hi Iam Sadanand kumar from hyderabad. My H1 VISA was processed by my company and i got it in 2008 quota. My company booked a date for stamping and just a week before going to stamping stopped me saying their is no requirement in US. After a month they asked me to resign as i too became the victim of recession.
When i asked my H1 docs they did not give me and asking me to pay 4000 dollars which is incurred amount to process the VISA. There are some persons who can give me job in US in their company. I asked my previous company to get stamped through them and send me so that all the expenditure is borned by me but they are not accepting.

If i pay and take those documents from my previous company with out stamping, will it be possible to transfer to the new company who is offering me job or will i lose the money i spent for taking those documents. Please let me know what to do.

Do you have the receipt number information from your employer? If yes, I guess you can attempt doing a H1 transfer without looking for any documents from your employer. Search this forum and read FAQs regarding similar queries.

No one should be paying for a H1b or for getting those documents. It is illegal.
