I would like to know how long does it usually take to get Canada's visitor visa from within the US. I am Indian citizen in US. I would like to visit for a short trip for say 1 week. Do they give a long term multiple entry visa like 1 year/5 years etc? Since my dates of travel are not yet fixed yet, but I have a cousin who is Canadian citizen and I would like to visit him often (2-3 times a year) for short trips.

well you can check visitor visa time processing on canadian embassy web site in buffelo or NY, i think if you apply directly to embassy by person same day you will get. or by mail 2 week may be. but check on canadian embassy in USA web site,
about multiplay entry when you apply for visa you have to pay fees and mention in application form about multiple visa or single visa, visa fees depend on entry of visa, so when you make application that time you have to select option about what visa you asking from embassy either single or multiple and paid fees regarding you want.
