really need some advice

hi everyone. ill give a bit of a background on my situation. i met a girl from canada in 2006 and went to go visit her in the same year and ended up living with her for two years all together with her coming to the uk for a couple of months when my visitor visa expired and at the time i had no plans to move to canada and missed a great oppertunity to get a common in law visa. i moved back to the uk in the knowledge that she was goin to follow and live here with me. after a few months we broke up which was june of last year. we have started talking a few months ago and are thinking about trying it again and i am movited and a lot different than i was back then and im willing to move to canada to be with her. the problem now though is we havent been living together for over a year and i cant do what i did back then with goin over there for a year with no money and no way of earning money. i havent been a student for over three years so cant get onto the working holiday visa which would have been ideal. i have no college degree and didnt do well in school so couldnt get onto the skilled working visa either. if anyone has any advice or tips of what we could do it would be very grateful indeed. thank you
