Hi, This is my story. I am 19 years old and in my last semester of my first year of college. I have a girlfriend who lives in canada who I am madly in love with and would give my world to be with her. She wants to same thing and is equally as driven, My question is this.

I have been on the phone nearly non stop trying to get someone to lead me in the right direction but I have found nothing. I am allowed to stay with my girl as long as I am allowed to work, So I am looking for any kind of visa or permit that will allow me to work in canada to provide, We will get married during my time there so the rest is not important. Any information or somewhere I can call to get all the information I would need would be very very helpful.

I will seriously be destroyed If I let this opportunity walk away from me to be with the girl of my dreams. Please someone help me make this work.

I recommend that you apply for a visitor visa to go to Canada. When you arrive, if you immediately marry your girlfriend, she can then apply to sponsor you for immigration from within Canada. In about 5 or 6 months, when the sponsorship application is approved, you will get an open work permit (you should apply for this in the same package as the sponsorship/PR application. An open work permt allows you to work legally in Canada at any job you want.
