UPS lost our passports :( - How to get a replacement Canadian Visitor Visa

Canada Visa Application Center in LA allows only USPS and UPS, and we chose UPS to ship. A decision we are severely regretting now.

Me, wife and child are now left with no passports - and gone with it are our US visa stamps and also the Canadian visitors visa that they were being shipped back with.

I am applying for passport re-issue with CKGS / Indian embassy. At risk are our L1 extension interviews in Vancouver

Does anyone know how to go about getting the Canadian visa counterfoil replaced on our new passports? How long does that take?
