Indian Working in Canda on workpermit, I also hold US H1B, how to travel to US?

Hi,
I am an Indian working in Canda on workpermit visa. I also hold US H1B visa stamped in India.
If I have to travel/visit to US for vacation or to meet my friends, will it be possible with my H1B visa?
1> Can I travel to US with my H1B visa?
2> Will I loose my H1B visa if I travel to US for 2/3 days or just for long weekend?
3> Is there any different kind of Visa should I take to Travel to US?
