CHANDIGARH: Tightening its noose around one of the biggest immigration company of the region WWICS, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Chandigarh Police, on Tuesday, conducted a raid at their sprawling head office in Phase VI, Mohali.

WWICS was booked by Chandigarh Police on February 2 as they were dealing with work permit visa without procuring any licence from the Union ministry of Indian overseas affairs.

"WWICS is a big name and we have done our complete homework before raiding their premises. During our probe, we have found serious anomalies in their business. We have conducted a surprise raid and sealed their office," said, Anil Joshi, deputy superintendent of police ( CID), who is heading SIT.

At the time of the raid there were around 150 WWICS employees inside the office and a team of around 35 cops were part of the raiding team. "We have already recovered indiscriminate documents and advertisements given by the WWICS regarding work permit," stated Joshi.

The spokesperson of WWICS said, "The firm is not covered under the Emigration Act 1983, and it doesn't provide working visas to people. The company is fully cooperating with the investigative agency."

Earlier WWICS officials had submitted documents before the Chandigarh SSP, raising suspicion over the police probe, but police refused to budge from their stand and rather gave them a questionnaire of 25 questions and sought their reply.

"WWICS officials said their website was a global portal and the services were meant for overseas clients, but we found that over 70% visitors on their website were Indians. They have also altered their website to mislead police," stated Joshi.

On my hard investigation against wwics group having mohali office with WWICS Group of Immigration ,I came to know that so called Lt Col Baljeet Singh Sandhu S/o Gulzar Singh and his both Sons Davinder Sandhu planted a I.T head namely Anuj Kaushik as main applicant for Immigration licence which is must be taken by every applicant having clean criminal background.The so called license has been taken by Anuj Kaushik as through representative of Wwics where davinder sandhu and Col baljeet Sandhu signed authorization.Davinder Sandhu and Col B.S Sandhu did not disclosed to D.C Mohali that a FIR No 28 Dated 1.2.12 U/s 420,188 IPC and 24 Immigration act 1983 add 177,192,199,203,418 IPC in Police station sector 17 has been registered against Worldwide wide Immigration Consultants Services Ltd SCO 2415-16 Sector 22 Chandigarh along with Career Overseas ,SCO 53-55 Sector 17D Chandigarh and Eminent Immigration Services Pvt Ltd SCO 60-62 2nd Floor Sector 17C Chandigarh .The so called FIR against WWICS World wide immigration service was a Investigation by Special Investigation agency (SIT) led by S.I Arjinder Singh and Insp Chiranji Lal SIT sector 24 and Accused Dinesh Mahajan S/o Sh.M.L Mahajan #c-7/195 Sector 8 Rohini Delhi,Dheeraj Kumar S/o Sh Krishan Gopal #1576 Phase X Mohali ,Baljit Singh Sandhu S/o late Gulzar Singh Sandhu 292 Sector 10 ,Chd ,Davinder Sandhu S/o Lt Col (retd) Baljeet Singh Sandhu #292 Sector 10 Chd and Parvinder Sandhu S/o Lt Col(retd) Baljeet Singh Sandhu #292 Sector 10 Chd .After the completion of investigation challan put in court on 31.08.2012 and since the case is under trial.In this case they cannot take any licence from D.C Mohali for immigration business.The so called A-12 ,Phase 6 Mohali building also do not have any commercial CLU nor layout plan approved.I have now approached D.C Mohali to cancel the said licence of WWICS group and register a Criminal case against Anuj kaushik .

In a significant move, the Punjab and Haryana high court has given a green signal to the Punjab government to take action against unregistered travel consultants, ticketing agents and IELTS coaching centres under the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act. Now, the government is free to take legal action against the unregistered agencies thriving across the state.
What started as a court initiative in 2006 to curb travel consultants from indulging in frauds has come to conclusion now.
As per the records presented in the high court, as of now only 215 consultants are registered across Punjab against the actual number of such consultants running into thousands. Talking specifically of SAS Nagar, there are only 13 registered consultants in the district. Interestingly, not even a single ticketing agent and IELTS coaching centre is registered.
As per the deputy commissioner's (DC) office, 60 consultants were in queue to get themselves registered and the number is expected to rise in the near future. Commenting on the issue, SAS Nagar SSP Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said, "We are yet to go through the judgment copy and we would speed up the process accordingly. A special team will be put in place to ensure that all consultants get themselves registered. We shall also ensure legal action against the violators."
As per the April 27 court order, there was no pendency in the high court and the state government was free to prosecute any unregistered travel agent, owners of IELTS coaching institutes and ticketing agents. The new amended Act and rules have been in force and duly notified by the HC.
Earlier named as the Punjab Prevention of Human Smuggling Act 2012, the amended Act will be known as Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act. The government made the amendments after having discussions with agents and consultants as per the directions of the high court.
After having consultations with the stakeholders, the government had agreed to take the registration fees in five instalments, remove the clause of minimum imprisonment for defaulters, submission of periodical financial
statements to the government, and to modify the complaints redressal system.
The high court has granted liberty to the stakeholders to file fresh petitions to challenge the amended Act and rules. With the court order, the government is now free to enforce registration under the amended Act and rules. Now, any consultant, agent or adviser dealing in overseas travel cannot operate without a licence.

In coming times a leading Immigration company who has concealed Govt of India and cheated state of Punjab shall be brought to books against whose already similar cases has been registered and they have taken a licence from D.C SAS Nagar on concealment of their nationality .All are open to express your concern .Every person who wants to go to Abroad on any qualification or educations bases must ensure they should ask the D.C of the particular city to give you information if any such licence has been taken by the said Firms or group of companies .Don't attend any Seminars of any companies .There are 217 immigration agencies in SAS Nagar Mohali whose information is being investigated. The so called Licence of ICCRC given by Canadian Immigration licence authority is only meant for such licence to be used in Canada not outside of it. There is no Foreign Direct Investment opened for Immigration in India nor any Canadian Citizen are allowed to opened any such branch or office in India. If any such companies are in operations in your state or City you must come back to me .The immigration frauds can be prevented by our own actions.

I am sorry I have not read these forums before getting trapped with this fraud company, this company is a big time cheating company and we should all make a joint forum and initiate legal action against these frauds. it is our moral duty to protect other fellow citizens from getting trapped with this company.
they are doing all illegal work and doing forgery of documents and fabrication of papers and they are cheating everybody. they are cheating innocent people and also cheating the immigration authorities of great nations. We should escalate this to all possible plateforms and get this Sandhu family arrested. their deserving place is prisons only.
