I am looking to immigrate to Canada with my family (wife and two kids under 5) from the UK. I have completed various "assessments" and seem to fall short of the required points by one or two. When I have asked advice of anyone, I get no response as it seems that unless you reach that criteria, no one is interested. The main reason for failing to reach the points is that I did not complete my degree at college.
I also have an Aunt in Canada, who is willing to sponsor us, but again this seems to be a problem if she has Canadian relatives (that is what I have deciphered from what I have read). Is that the case.
I have 15 years experience in a highly technical environment as an engineer and manager and have worked for a Canadian company for 2 years in 1996-1998.
If anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated.
