I just need to know a few restrictions that my visa may have

I am an Australian holding a Working Visa in Canada. I am living in Montreal.

I am looking at trying to get work on a Cruise Line as a chef. What i am wondering is what restrictions do i have being in this stituation? Also, am i only able to apply with Cruise line Companies Registered in Canada or am I able to apply at one's in the US or elsewhere??

The information on that area is a little vague.
