No declare a DUI that happened 18 years ago

Hi Team

Please help me to understand if a DUI that happened 18 years will appear when background is done after biometrics is done.

I've already sent I485 - I765 & I131 waiting to get EAD approve

Charges at any point in time will always appear in the background check. I can almost guarantee that if you did not declare it on your forms it is going to hold up the process as you will be asked to provide information in regards to it.

This omission may possible effect you adversely as you have pretty much lied on a government application. I would recommended trying to amend these documents with the correct information entered in.

It is always best to be up front and truthful in dealings with USCIS and in life in general.
